Java EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in Minecraft Launcher when starting a Forge Minecraft 1.20.1 Install

Unable to run a Forge 1.20.1 Install from Minecraft Launcher.

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected to have the Forged Minecraft Installation to open up the Minecraft game just like the normal installation of Minecraft.

What actually happened was...:
When I clicked on Play, after selecting the Forge 1.20.1 install, it gave me an error prompt "Error: 1"

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download Forge installer 1.20.1

2. Install as client

3. Open Minecraft Launcher

4. select Forge 1.20.1 from the drop down of installs

5. click Play
