Invisible Hotbar

If the pause menu is not opened, my hotbar and the items in it are completely invisible, as well as the in-game chat. I am using shaders and a few mods (game version isn't 1.20.2, it is 1.18.2)

What I expected to happen was...:
To be able to see my hotbar and chat when playing the game.

What actually happened was...:
That my hotbar and chat are not appearing. 

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download forge 40.2.0 and Optifine for 1.18.2 version, along with Stracciatella Shaders
2. Launch the game with the downloaded forge version
3. Open a world
