Block cracks render behind the text of signs

The Bug:

Block cracks render behind the text of signs.

This issue is more easily noticeable when breaking signs with glowing text.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Summon a sign with glowing text on it by using the command provided below.

   /setblock ~-1 ~ ~-1 minecraft:oak_sign{front_text:{color:"magenta",has_glowing_text:1b,messages:['{"text":"888888888888888"}','{"text":"888888888888888"}','{"text":"888888888888888"}','{"text":"888888888888888"}']}}

2. Switch to survival mode, begin breaking the signs, and watch the block cracks closely.
3. Take note as to whether or not block cracks render behind the text of signs.

Observed Behavior:

Block cracks render behind the text of signs.

Expected Behavior:

Block cracks would render above the text of signs.
