Lazy pandas sometimes rotate their entire bodies vertically when looking at the player while laying down

When lazy pandas lay down, they can rotate their head and their bodies horizontally, which is likely intended. However, they are sometimes also able to rotate their bodies vertically while laying down, which looks very odd.

To reproduce, use the following command to summon lazy pandas, pillar up a couple blocks, and wait for the pandas to look at you while laying down:

/summon minecraft:panda ~ ~ ~ {MainGene:"lazy"}
