NBT path format can't be used in macro variables

This is What I mean:
$execute in $(LastDeathLocation.dimension) run tp @s $(LastDeathLocation.pos[0]) $(LastDeathLocation.pos[1]) $(LastDeathLocation.pos[2]) ->putting this in a function will result in it not showing up in game anymore.
