mac osx fullscreen bug :(

when trying to mace minecraft fullscreen, 1 of the following usually happens:
1. My computer freezes and shows a jumbled up mes of the launcher dev. consle, the minecraft.dmg disc drive and my wallpaper.
2.my computer simply freezes
3.my computer crashes alltogether
4. mac osx quits unnexpectedly, forcing me to reboot my computer.
Please fix this i find it very hard to play when my game isnt fullscreen.
