If you walk on soul sand near lava and press w next to a block you'll jump

Step one: Place Soul Sand next to lava source.

Step two: Make sure your hitbox touches the lava source.

Step three: Run to the wall and hold your ''walk forwards'' key.

 

Result: You will jump as seen in the picture below.
