Can't play Minecraft java although i bought it

Yesterday I payed for standard edition Minecraft java but it didn't show up as payed for. Minecraft bedrock was there but not java. I payed with it through the Minecraft buy now button but does not appear on the Minecraft launcher because I was hoping to join a server and other non-necessary things that need me to use the Minecraft launcher. Minecraft was shown in the Xbox app java and bedrock and launcher but I couldn't use older versions or launch java on the Xbox app.
