new amour trims on armour stands

i added a trim to a diamond amour then put it on a armour stand and it just had a plain old diamond armour this is made on a client side mods that are just cosmetic and nothing was added took all the texture packs off and nothing 

What I expected to happen was...:
to show on a armour stand

What actually happened was...:
it just had a plain old diamond armour without the trim visible on the armour stand

Steps to Reproduce:
1. add a trim to the diamond armour 
2. place it on the armour stand
