Big Spruce Tree doesn't replace saplings

Only On servers when I plant 2x2 spruce saplings and bone meal them the tree grows but only one sapling dissapears.

The saplings shouls've been replaced my spruce logs

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Join a server on 1.20
2. plant a 2x2 spruce sapling for a big tree
3. bone meal one sapling
