enchanting table crashes my game

when trying to enchant my tools, the game crashes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. place lapiz in the enchantment table
2. place the tool i want to enchant in the enchantment table
3. game crashes

edit- tried it with unmodded on a different server and still happened.
