Items disappear when mined with gold fortune 2 pickaxe

I was on my friend realm, and while I at first thought it was lag, I was able to mine other blocks which dropped just fine? It was stone iron ore and it was a golden pickaxe from a ruined portal. -6397988812814726420 that's the seed. I don't really know how to take a video and forgot to take photos, so I hope that's enough to replicate it.
