Instead of fox jumping fox sinks into ground and the item fox holds floating out of mouth

The fox was doing the jump animation combines with the siting animation. I broke the grass around him but he would just float and would not fall into the ground. In the fifth picture the feather the fox it holding is floating out of mouth. I don't know why he was doing that but I was confused.
