Random fire

So I was playing minecraft, with mods and randomly the village I was playing in caught fire while I was out collecting food. Right after I picked some lettuce it caught fire. It might be the mod but I am reporting it here first just in case. If it's a bug can you help? (Real version 1.12.2) (I couldnt select the version)
