Failed to login: the authentication servers are currently not reachable error is not going away

What I expected to happen was...:
Was trying to join a server, worked fine earlier this morning

What actually happened was...:
I got the failed to log in: authentication servers are currently not reachable

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I'm not sure if its just me or many more people, but any attempt to join a server even after restarting my computer, doing a DNS flush, reconnecting my WiFi still doesn't fix it.
