Picked up statistic does not increase

When trying to pickup an item from the ground usually it increase picked up item statistic. If you have full an inventory and you have some space to pickup an item, but it still remains on the ground it won't update the statistic. For developers the issue in ItemEntity#playerTouch(Player) (probably). On the video I was using a feather client but on vanilla it should work too!
