Bots scanning servers

Right now there is a huge problem with bots that are plaguing everyone who has a public minecraft server. I hope you take this matter seriously it seems to be really worrying. I think it is your responsibility to make sure people are not able to use their minecraft accounts to login to thousands of minecraft servers every second, there should be some kind of limit to avoid this kind of thing. Also you should ban those who participate in this. The potential damage this kind of thing can cause can be quite devastating. It is already linked to some malware, if this keeps going unchecked it will keep spreading and only get worse.
