Unknown Host after switching networks

When switching networks, all Minecraft servers are unreachable and only display "Unknown Host".

The issue is occasionally resolved by switching networks back to the original but often this does not work.

Restarting the game after switching networks shows that the network switched to works fine for connecting to servers, as they are then reachable again.
