Double piston on placement

Piston extends towards initial direction and towards you

What I expected to happen was...:
Piston faces me

What actually happened was...:
Piston extends upwards and faces me

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place redstone source
2. Jump and aim down
3. Move mouse upwards so the piston faces you instead of up
