Missing jigsaw block in ancient city's bridge structure

All of the ancient city's horizontal_wall structures contain a connect_wall jigsaw block on both their east and west ends...except one. The structure ancient_city:walls/intact_horizontal_wall_bridge only has one connect_wall jigsaw block, on its west side; it's missing the matching one the others have on their east sides.

Presumably this results in the structure creating a dead end every time it generates.
