Having particles turned off on a potion effect and then getting the effect again makes them be turned back on

I was messing with the new infinite effects and notice that the particles overrides when we get any effect we had before with them turned off.
To reproduce:
1- Give yourself dolphin`s grace for an infinite time and without particles, i used 5 as the multiplier. (long times also cause that)
2- Swim near a dolphin to get dolphin`s grace, which will make particles appear.
3- Get away from the dolphin and wait for the dolphin`s dolphin`s grace to expire.
4- Particles still appear even though the longer effect had them turned off.

I search around for anything related to this, but couldnt find anything. so if its a duplicate im sorry. hope it helps :> love this game and good work with the update!
