Bats can hang on nothing adjacent to other blocks / Bat hanging position client-server desync

I was playing creative and I went inside a library in a village. The bats are inside the house but when I chase them one of them began to hang on nothing near a glass pane adjacent to the other panes and blocks. It must be the AI of the bats that's causing this...
