Shulker Bullets always push Fireballs south

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Get a shulker and a fireball (/summon fireball ~ ~ ~)
2) Get the shulker bullet to hit the fireball
3) The fireball only gets pushed south even if the bullet was not facing that direction
