no music plays in-game

When in-game no music was playing for the duration of the session

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected music to play a couple of times per game day. 

What actually happened was...:
No music played whatsoever.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. play the game
2. listen
3. no music.
