Chissled Book Selfs NBT Not Working

I was just playing on the new 23w05a update and I helt ctrl and click my middle mouse button to copy the chiseled book shelf with the NBT data but when I placed it no book were showing so I broke it and the books we in it it just wasn't displaying the proper texture. The item was showing +NBT in purple like normal it just wasn't displaying the texture.
