Dyed horse armor loses its color when right click on a horse with it

When right clicking on a horse with dyed leather horse armor, the armor reverts back to regular leather horse armor.

 

To recreate:

1. Spawn horse
2. Tame horse
3. Dye leather horse armor
4. Right click on horse while holding the dyed leather horse armor
5. Horse will be wearing regular leather armor instead of the dyed armor

 

Note: 1.19.2 wouldn't let me right click a horse to equip armor, so it wasn't an issue there
