I'm playing on a non-modded 1.6.2 client. If I try to make or play a single player world, Minecraft closes. I hit "Create New World" or "Play Selected World" and then it closes. Any help is appreciated. Also the PC I'm using is pretty low-end.

What I expected to happen was that I open Minecraft, go to single player, select my world, and play for a bit.

What actually happened was that I opened Minecraft, went to single player, opened the world, and the game crashed. It closed as soon as I tries to play. (Note: I tried to re-create the world, that crashed, I also tried making a new random world, that also made the game crash)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Grab a Computer with these specs or try to simulate:
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600)
System Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
System Model: Inspiron 1011
BIOS: Version 1.00ARTTBLu
Processor: Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 1014MB RAM
Page File: 811MB Used, 1629MB Available
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.00000.0904)
2. Get the new Minecraft Launcher
3. Login using the "Default" profile
4. Go to Single Player
5. Create a new world
