Getting hit with Punch II while standing in front of a wall negates Knockback

The Bug:

When standing about 1 to 1.5 Blocks away from a solid wall, getting hit with a Punch II Bow doesn't knock you back, smashing you into the wall, but instad just knocks you into the air and you land back where you started. (YouTube Video)

Step to Reproduce:

1. Build a wall from any block (2 Blocks high)
2. Give a Skeleton or your friend a Punch II Bow
3. Stand 1 - 1.5 Blocks away from the wall
4. Get shot by them

Expected Behavior:

The player should be knocked back against the wall.
