Trident with riptide 2 not working (multiplayer)

What I expected to happen was...:
As i enchanted the trident i can trow it and i will fly to trident 

What actually happened was...:
As i enchanted the trident and tried to throw it rightklick) it didn't worked

Steps to Reproduce:
1. a player gave me a mending 1 and unbreaking 3 trident
2. then i buyed a riptide 2 book
3. at least i enchanted the trident with the riptide 2 book

P.S: it was on 1.19.2 but i can't select 1.19.2
