Nether portal texture no longer renders from the inside

Summary:
Nether portal texture no longer renders from the inside as of version 1.7.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Build a Nether portal and activate it.
2. Switch to spectator mode.
3. Go to the nether portal block.

Observed results:
The nether portal block does not renders from the inside.

Expected results:
The nether portal block will be rendered from the inside.
