Issue with assigning villagers

My newer villagers seem to be having trouble with being assigned/reassigned to workstations following the update. Where previously, this process would be near-instant, it now seems to take 3-7 minutes for the to be assigned to a workstation. And sometimes will just simply not be assigned or reassigned to a workstation (The real reason I'm making a ticket as I would not be surprised to learn that an increased time in workstation assignment is intentional, even in slightly inconvenient when setting up trades for a single villager. Trade level upgrading and trades resetting seems to work just fine. It is simply the assignment process.

When testing in a creative world made at roughly the same time as my survival world, the issue seems to be gone. It does still take longer, but they are guaranteed to update.

I am going to try and flush out the villagers from the previous version and relocate them to a nice retirement village near a coral reef to see if newer villagers have the same inconsistency issues, and if this is not resolved/closed prior to doing so, I will provide an update as to whether or not it has fixed the issue.
