time glitch

I got stuck in a village without a bed, so I could not sleep through the night. I thought the night seemed really really long, but I didn't figure out what was wrong until morning. The sun would come up over the horizon - about 10-12 pixels, then drop back down, then would raise up 1 pixel higher than before, then drop back down. I looked at my clock in my bar and it was acting weird, too. Eventually, about mid day the forward-back motion ceased and time moved on as normal.
