Chiseled Bookshelf duplication glitch

If you right click with an item that can be put inside a chiseled bookshelf on a full chiseled bookshelf, the itemstack in the hand will be increased by one, this seems even to ignore the 64 stack size limit, as seen in the attached picture.

The bug seems to happen in both survival and creative.

Expected behavior:

An item from the bookshelf will be added to the inventory or dropped on the ground.

What happens:

One item will be added to the used stack.
