Pressing full screen in options crashes game and you have to restart your computer to get game to start again

I thought it was best not to post in launcher section as it is a in game fault but it does affects launching of game. I submitted a crash report from the launcher, I don't know if they are submitted with our usernames but mine is Curious_Toad.
