Given that MC-256466 hasn't been marked as 'won't fix', I would consider rafts being counted as boats for the 'Whatever Floats Your Goat' advancement a bug as well. The description in particular references boats by name.

Besides, this is just an opportunity for a follow-up advancement anyways "Whatever Wafts [makes something travel smoothly across water] Your Calf [a baby cow]"?
