Blocks in multiplayer don't break

What I expected to happen was...:

When I break a block of the new version it drops

What actually happened was...:

When I break a block of the new version it does not drop,

in others word in singleplayer it breaks

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a new block (bamboo planks) (in multiplayer)
2. Try to break it
