Camel's visual head not looking at mobs/players properly

Camels, like almost all mobs, look at nearby mobs/players intermittently. However, they always seem to look above what they're facing, as if their eyes are much lower down. It makes a lot more sense when you imagine the lower part of the camel's neck as the actual head of the mob.
