The Bug:
The surface of water utilizes the light levels of certain non-full blocks located above them.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a box with some water inside that has a row of non-full blocks along the edge of the ceiling by using the following commands provided below.
/fill ~-3 ~-1 ~-3 ~3 ~3 ~3 minecraft:polished_andesite hollow
/fill ~2 ~2 ~2 ~-2 ~2 ~2 minecraft:quartz_stairs
/fill ~-2 ~ ~-2 ~2 ~1 ~2 minecraft:water
/fill ~2 ~3 ~2 ~-2 ~3 ~2 minecraft:air
- Look at the light levels of the surface of the water that's underneath the stair blocks.
- Take note as to whether or not the surface of water utilizes the light levels of certain non-full blocks located above them.
Observed Behavior:
The surface of water utilizes the light levels of certain non-full blocks located above them.
Expected Behavior:
The surface of water would not utilize the light levels of certain non-full blocks located above them.
