Will not let play minecraft 1.6.2

I opened up minecraft then logged on, but it instantly crashed while loading

What I expected to happen was...:
The mojang logo then minecraft singleplayer/multiplayer

What actually happened was...:
Crashed when I logged on

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open
2. ...log in
3. ...starts to crash
