The screen flashes when rapidly throwing items

The Bug:

The screen flashes when rapidly throwing items.

This issue is most notable when rapidly throwing items upward or downward; it can also be seen when throwing them in any other direction but is slightly less severe. This is a problem because the rapid flashing may disorient those who suffer from photosensitive epilepsy.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Obtain a stack of blocks, hold them in your main hand, and look upward.
2. Hold down the "Drop Selected Item" key ("Q" by default) and watch your screen closely.
3. Take note as to whether or not the screen flashes when rapidly throwing items.

Observed Behavior:

The screen flashes.

Expected Behavior:

The screen would not flash, thus significantly reducing the chances of those who suffer from photosensitive epilepsy from experiencing seizures as a result of the flashing.
