Minecraft is censoring all messages in a realm

So one of my friends has parental controls and therefore cant see any vulgar messages. Me and my other friend were spamming inappropriate messages for fun. All of a sudden all messages we send are hidden and cant be seen by my other friend. I assume this is a bug and I'm not sure if it happens just in realms, but this issue presented a lack of communication between my other friend. When we closed minecraft and rejoined the realm, me and my friends censorship persisted. Please fix this.
