Cured Villager Won’t Restock

my villager won’t restock. he was cured after being zombified and now won’t restock his mending books. he used to restock before i zombified him but it has now been 12 real-time hours and he still hasn’t restocked. he has access to a bed and workstation that isn’t occupied but still won’t restock.
