By pushing the sugar cane with a piston, it is defective

I wanted to make a sugar cane plantation automatic, but a defect when the piston pushes them.

When you pull the lever pushes the piston down the Sugar cane normally, but the piston ends up creating a sort of "Semi-piston" causing the piston no longer function even break the "Semi-piston"
