Already locked villagers trying to get a new job

For example, i have a farmer villager who did not want to refresh his trades whatever i did. When i was busy getting another villager a job.. The farmer ran to the station and green particles appeared.. so hes locked to multiple stations. I have no other option than to kill him i guess.
