Entity lighting rendered too bright

After I have installed a mod called Boosted Brightness, the entity lighting seemed to have been messed up. So I uninstalled the mod, but the entity lighting still seemed to be messed up. I have tried to clear the lightmap and the config files, but that didn't fix it either.
