1.17.10 Mouse slideing

I'm currently playing modded 1.17.10 and I'm running into this problem where when looking around it goes slow and slides a lot it makes it hard to control or do anything, so if I looked to the left it would keep sliding. I have tried resetting, looking through the settings, and looking it up but nothing has worked except for generating a whole new world... but even then after a little bit it comes back, it's extremely annoying and I'm unsure how to fix this or what might be causing it?
