Map markers multiplying

I have moved my map around a couple of times to try to get the feel of where I want it to go, however as I moved it around I noticed that the old map markers are staying and the new ones are being created, creating a green arrow mess. This seems to be only an issue in 1.19 as it does not do this in past versions.
