Cannot join Multiplayer server

I worked with 3 different Minecraft Expert Support people and the third directed me here to file a bug report. I continue to get the same message every time I try to join a multiplayer game. 

"Failed to log in: The authentication servers are currently not reachable. Please try again."

Same message for days now.
