Chunks not loading in older versions.

Been playing the older versions of Java Edition a lot recently, specifically 1.3 and 1.4 but recently the chunks just haven’t been loading correctly, so I upgraded to 1.4 and had the same issue. I’ve restarted the game, restarted my PC, turned Razer Game Booster on and off but nothing has worked.
