Exiting the Play Multiplayer screen by pressing esc causes the splash text to cycle; no other method does

If you press escape to get out of any other screen, say singleplayer, realms, or options, splash text won't cycle. Pressing back or done on any screen including multiplayer also doesn't cause splash text to cycle.
